New feature: Temporary conversations
For a while now, web browsers offer a private browsing mode that keeps no history of your activity. We have added a new "temporary chats" feature so you can have conversations with AI without leaving any trace.
There may be situations where you wish to chat with an AI but don't want to keep any record of doing so. Currently it is possible to achieve this by just manually deleting the conversation but this isn't ideal - you might forget and the messages are still temporarily saved (encrypted) to the server.
Starting today you can now enable a temporary chat when starting a new conversation. Temporary chats are not saved at all and disappear if you move away from or refresh the page. You can also manually clear your messages using the 🔥 button.
If you're familiar with Private Browsing or Incognito Mode in your web browser, this concept should seem familiar and is another useful feature to help protect your privacy a little more.
