Cognos on your phone
There's no Cognos app in the app stores yet — and you don't need one. Pin Cognos to your home screen and it opens with one tap, in its own window, just like an app.
1On iPhone or iPad (Safari)
Open Cognos in Safari
Go to app.cognos.io.
Tap the Share button
The square with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen (top right on iPad).
Tap Add to Home Screen
Scroll down the share sheet if you don't see it straight away.
Tap Add
The Cognos icon appears on your home screen.
2On Android (Chrome)
Open Cognos in Chrome
Go to app.cognos.io.
Tap the three-dot menu
In the top-right corner of the browser.
Tap Add to Home screen
On some phones this is labelled Install app — both do the same thing.
Confirm with Add
The Cognos icon appears on your home screen.
3What to expect
Tapping the icon opens Cognos in its own window, without the browser's address bar or tabs. It's the same Cognos as on your computer — your chats, projects and settings are all there, and you always get the latest version without updating anything.
