Some models can show their thinking before the final answer — and you control how much effort they spend.
1Show the thinking
On models that support it, each answer has a Show reasoning toggle. The thinking streams live, then tucks away once the answer arrives. It's encrypted like the rest of your message and never logged.
2Set the effort
The Reasoning effort control in the message box lets you dial a capable model from off up to high. More effort can take longer and cost more; the exact levels depend on the model.
