Resetting your password

Forgot your password? Reset it by email. This never affects your encrypted chats or your Account Key.

1Reset it

  1. Open the reset page

    Go to Reset your password and enter your email.

  2. Open the emailed link

    It takes you to a page to choose a new password.

  3. Choose a new password

    Set it and you're done.

2Good to know

If you have two-factor authentication on, a password reset doesn't bypass it — you'll still need your code.
